Sustainability can apply to many areas.  For the Weston family it not only applies to agriculture but to forest management as well.  The Weston's forestland is under the supervision of a licensed forester and a written management plan.

Forest stands are selectively cut as needed to capture marketable wood while maintaining a healthy forest.

Certified Professional Loggers are used for harvests.  The entire fallen tree is utilized.  Tops and unmarketable wood are chipped and used for power generation.

White Pine seedlings are transplanted after harvests to ensure that future generations can continue to benefit from this important commodity.
